Mocca - Drummer Boy
I was feeling a bit down yesterday evening. It was a combination of sadness leaving the company and the pain my throat was giving. However, I ended yesterday with a big smile. They always make me feel better. I clearly remembered the last time I left Watson, they were there to make me feel better. It wasn’t any different this time. I met up with them after my work and we headed to EsTeler 77 to have our dinner. After which we headed to esplanade to catch Mocca. They were so excited to watch Mocca, that they were practically gushing and running all over to catch a glimpse of Arina. Me on the other hand, never seen neither have I heard them sing live was wondering over their craze. Not for long though, I was like one of them, practically gushing over her.
An amazing broadway voice plus a very cute personality, how on earth can anyone not go crazy? Her voice was not like those powerful diva voice but it was powerful in a childlike way. It was smooth, flawless and very pleasing to the ears that brought smiles to my face. On top of that, she played the flute beautifully that left me admiring her even more.
Only after a number of songs, I looked over at her other bandmates to give them the credit they deserved. Indeed, someone caught my eyes. He is none other than the drummer of Mocca. Oh my gosh, he played the drum with attitude and expression. Every single beat he hit with a touch of style and feel. It was definitely very classy. Plus the fact he looked so adorable and cool, I was practically bugging Ahmad to catch a snapshot of him. Confession: From then till then end of the show, my eyes were just fixed on him.
I was smiling even until I got back home and I am still smiling as I type this entry. Nazmi told me to look at the drummer hair, hinting that it was ridiculous. Siti said that he doesn’t have a neck and Fauzie jokingly teased the drummer because of that. Hah. But who cares. I don’t judge cuteness only by the looks, it’s the whole package. So what if he have a ridiculous hairstyle or doesn't have a neck. The way he played the drum, the way he expressed himself, the way he hit the drum with a touch of style, to me that is cuteness. Till then..Tkc ppl..
