Mom

“Even though we've changed and we're all finding our own place in the world, we all know that when the tears fall or the smile spreads across our face, we'll come to each other because no matter where this crazy world takes us, nothing will ever change so much to the point where we're not all still friends.”

Sometimes, I wish I know what to do, what to say to help and make things better. Sometimes I wish I won’t say or do the wrong tings to make things worst. Sometimes I wish they know the reasons behind some of my actions is because I truly care. It just makes me feel so helpless and useless when all I can do is to sit and watch and do nothing about it.

And so it’s Mother’s Day today. I remembered when I was younger; I wrote a little something about a mother (the piece is below). It isn’t exactly a very well written piece but nevertheless I love it because it came sincerely from my heart. With that, this one is out for all mothers in the world, especially my mom. I love you Mum!! =)

Mom,
In my life you are the greatest
You watch me grow
Gave me hope
And shower me with so much love

Mom,
The only one
Who would walk a thousand miles
Cry a thousand buckets
Do anything within her
Just to ensure my safety.

Mom,
Always guiding me throughout my life
Be behind me to catch me when I fall
Be there to embrace me
Giving me a sense of protection and warmth
When everything seem to go wrong

Mom,
A thoughtful person
Who always seem to care
Something is always learnt
When she is there.

Mom,
Someone I love
Someone I appreciate
Someone whom I really care

Mom,
Someone whom I respect
Someone whom i am grateful for
Cause without her
I wouldn't be the person
I am today

Mom
Because you're so special
So on this special day
