Sunday
"Each day I learn more than I teach; I learn that half knowledge of another's life leads to false judgment;" - Virginia Church quoted by Derrick Fountain, 2005
Today is Sunday, marks the end of the week. This week passed so fast. It passed so fast, that I didn’t even have any time to stop, think and reflect on the things that had happened.
Work is fine. It brings me back to poly days when there are a thousand and one projects on hand and yet in between having to attend all the tutorials, lecture and lab sessions. Teaching is fun, it can be physically and mentally tiring that it drains out every single bit of energy in you but I am enjoying every single moment.
“Teacher, they (pointing to the older boys) say you’re my girlfriend?” Putting both of his hands on his mouth, he started blushing and giggling. "Teacher, can you be my girlfriend?" Grabbing my hands and holding it tightly. "Teacher, are you not tired from talking? Are you a superwomen?" looks at me innocently. "Teacher did you watch power ranger dino thunder yesterday?"
The kids can get on my nerves and drive me insane but when I raise my voice to scold each time they fool around, a sense of guilt plunge me. Well, no matter how mischievous they are, I love them all because each and every single one of them are special in their own ways and I know they will grow up to be somebody. =)
"Teacher, can i be a house husband instead of a lawyer or a doctor when i grow up?"
